Support the McWorkers!

Following unprecedented strikes in Crayford and Cambridge, McDonald’s has awarded all its workers a pay rise and fixed-hour contracts. But this still leaves many staff on less than £10 an hour, in precarious employment and without the protection of trade union membership.

The Bakers, Food and Allied Workers Union is campaigning at McDonald’s and other fast-food outlets for a £10 an hour minimum wage and unionisation. Party organisations and members are urged to contact their local BFAWU organisation and offer all possible assistance to this important work.

Following reports and statistics exposing low wages across the South West this is a vital campaign.
