We know that many people in our South West Region are celebrating the Jubilee this weekend, but we are not joining them. In case you’re wondering, we Communists are republican and, as such, are totally opposed to the institution of monarchy. We campaign for equal opportunities, not inherited privilege, power and wealth. We want a head of state who is elected and accountable to the people.
