The Bristol, Bath & Gloucester Branch of the Communist Party of Britain (CPB) organised a public meeting held on Wednesday 11 March, at the YHA in Bristol, to mark International Women’s Day which took place three days before.
The Chair of the CPB, and local trade unionist, comrade Liz Payne, spoke on the theme “A woman’s place is in the struggle”.
Members of the public were invited to attend, and after her talk Liz took part in an engaging question and answer session in which everyone had a chance to actively participate in the discussion.
